Dear Parents,
It has been a fantastic start to the new academic year, and our MYP music classes have kicked off on a great foot! Students have already jumped straight into practical music making in the studio.
Here is a look at what each year group is currently playing in class:

Grade 7: Students are diving into music for video games by learning and performing iconic video game themes on their instruments.

Grade 8: Grade 8s are mastering the fundamental 12-bar blues form, building their performance and improvisation skills over classic blues chord progressions.

Grade 9: Our Grade 9 musicians are forming groups and rehearsing a vibrant selection of classic and contemporary Rock and Pop songs.

Grade 10: Grade 10 students are taking on a creative challenge by selecting individual songs of their choice and arranging them into distinct Jazz styles.
