Secondary Student Council: End of Year Gathering
On Sunday, we held our last Student Council gathering. They deserved to eat all of this pizza as payment for all of their hard work this year! Anabel is stepping down as president next year, and she delivered a poignant and heartfelt speech!
From Sunday until today, the G7 students were busy in the music room writing and composing the opening ceremony song for the ABIS games. What they ended up with was impressive- it’s amazing what you can do in just 3 days when you put your mind to it!
Finally, it’s never easy having to say goodbye to people who have grown to be friends and colleagues you are going to miss. BUT, I always feel richer for having had them in my life, even if that is for just a snapshot! We are so lucky to be working internationally, where you meet people from all over the world- you learn so much from each other!
So…we made it! Wishing everyone a relaxing and love-filled break. See you in August.
