This week, students focused on preparing for the upcoming ABIS Games, a school-wide interdisciplinary unit that will take place at the end of the school year in Oman. Inspired by the FIFA World Cup, the project brings together all grade levels, with each grade taking responsibility for a different aspect of planning and promoting the event.
Grade 10 students are designing and organizing the sporting competitions, Grade 9 students are managing visitor information and communication, Grade 8 students are creating the advertising campaign, and Grade 7 students are developing the event atmosphere through sound and interactive experiences.
As part of the Grade 8 team, students divided into two groups to create the event’s promotional materials: a promotional video and a traditional poster. This collaborative project provides students with an exciting opportunity to apply their subject knowledge and skills to a real-world event.
