Dear KG2 Families,
As always, we are happy to share some special moments from our week with you.
In our Unit of Inquiry “How We Express Ourselves,” it has been wonderful to see the children working together in groups to create their own stories. Some children focused on creating the setting, while others worked on the characters and added details to their stories. They even chose titles for their work! It was such a lovely moment to watch them sharing ideas, discussing together, and recording their thinking through drawings. We are very proud of their teamwork and creativity, and we look forward to continuing this learning next week.
During Phonics, we introduced the sound “sh.” The children enjoyed listening to the story and song for the sound and were excited to learn that two letters can work together to make one sound.
In Mathematics, we practiced number positions such as before, after, and in between through different fun activities.
Reminder: ABIS will be closed from Tuesday, 26 May, and school will resume on Sunday, 31 May.
