The Grade 1 students have worked very hard over the past weeks on writing their own stories as part of our unit “How We Express Ourselves.” Together, we explored what makes a story a good story.
After that, the students created their own story maps including the four key story elements: character, setting, problem, and solution. Using this plan, they wrote their own stories in their own words and added beautiful illustrations.
They are not only authors, but also illustrators in one!
We are extremely proud of their final work, and the students are very excited to share it with you.
That’s why we would like to invite all mums and dads to join us on Thursday 21st May from 8:15 to 8:45 in the classroom to listen to their stories.
