Dear KG2 Families,
It is our pleasure to share some of our learning experiences from this week.
In our Unit of Inquiry “How We Express Ourselves,” the children enjoyed listening to the story “Aladdin” as part of exploring stories from different cultures. They worked together to create a front cover for the story, showing their creativity and teamwork.
Show and Tell was also a highlight this week. The children confidently stood in front of their friends to share their stories and answer questions. It was lovely to see them also asking questions and showing curiosity about each other’s stories.
Another fun activity was creating “Gingerbread Man” characters, where the children showed their creativity and enjoyed making their own versions.
In Phonics, we learned the letter Qq, focusing on its name and sound. The children also worked on a word family activity for “an”, where they combined letters to build simple words.
