Dear Parents,
It has been a meaningful week of learning, where students are beginning to understand roles, expression, and communication through physical activity.
With our younger students, we started exploring the different roles in sports and how each one is important. The children had the opportunity to take on roles such as coaches, players in football, and basketball, beginning to understand that everyone contributes in different ways. This is a wonderful connection to their new unit under How We Organize Ourselves, and we will continue to develop this understanding in the coming weeks.
With our KG2 students, we have started their new unit under How We Express Ourselves. Through movement activities, students began exploring how we can express our feelings using our bodies instead of words. While this was a little challenging at first, it quickly became a fun and engaging experience, with lots of creativity and laughter as the children experimented with different ways to communicate through movement.
