Dear KG2 Families,
We are happy to share some of our learning and special moments from this week!
This week was Book Week at school, and it was full of fun and excitement. The children enjoyed many activities, such as looking for Wally characters around the school and collecting stamps from teachers to earn stickers.
We also had a lovely time welcoming Grade 6 students into our classroom. They read stories to our children, and it was wonderful to see them listening, engaging, and enjoying reading together.
Another highlight was Dress-Up Day, where children came dressed as their favorite book characters. It was so nice to see the different characters around the school and watch the children guess who is who!
In our Unit of Inquiry “How We Express Ourselves,” we have been learning about story elements, focusing on problems and solutions. The children explored different stories to identify these parts and began to understand how problems are solved in stories.
We believe pictures capture special moments—please feel free to click on the link to see some highlights from our week.
We wish you a lovely and relaxing weekend.
Warm regards,
Ms. AlJabri & Ms. Maryam
