Dear Parents,

A week full of focus, progress, and a few “ah, grammar!” moments across the board.

Grade 7s have been deep in grammar, grammar, and more grammar. A necessary step to build strong foundations, even if not always their favourite part!

Grade 8s are continuing to explore routines as they prepare for their “Get ready with me” creations, linking language to everyday habits and choices.

Grade 9s presented their Shark Tank products this week, and we will soon be voting for the most convincing one. At the same time, we have already moved on to our new unit on the environment and human impact, perfectly timed with Earth Day on April 22nd.

Grade 10s are fully in revision mode, working with past papers and exploring mnemonic techniques to support memory and recall. A focused and strategic approach as they prepare for their final assessments.

Grade 11s are concentrating on Paper 1, developing their ability to write the most effective text types with clarity, structure, and purpose.

A week of effort, structure, and meaningful connections to the world around us.

Warm wishes,
Miss J
