Happy Thursday everyone,
It’s been a busy and productive week for the SHINE team this week. We have been carrying out the WIDA tests with G6-8 and I’m proud to report some excellent progress since the beginning of the year, when we did the first round.
I’ve also had the pleasure of doing learning walks around some of the Primary classes this week- to see how hard some of our teachers have worked with our SHINE students is amazing and to see the students making so much progress makes my heart happy. In assembly today, some of the students received certificates of recognition from the SHINE team- well deserved!
On my travels, I had the absolute pleasure of seeing the simple machines G3 have come up with. Their ideas and creativity really excitied me- to me, this is what education is all about!
