Week 29 in G6
A fun and eventful week in which the students got the chance to showcase their skills at the Student Led Conferences. Thank you for all those who were able to attend and for showing so much energy and enthusiasm for your child’s learning. It was also the week where we finished our How the World Works unit of inquiry (see Seesaw for one of the final tasks) and neared the end of our explanation writing unit in Literacy. The children’s final explanation (of an area that they chose themselves and researched) will be on next week’s Seesaw.
Please see some photos from the Student Led Conference – here

- More details – here
Thursday 23rd April – No School
There is no school for students on this date as it is a ‘Professional Learning’ day for ABIS staff.
VERY IMPORTANT DATE
Grade 6 Graduation = Tuesday 2nd June – 8.15am to 9am in the Mazoon. PLEASE put this date in your calendar and ensure that you can attend. We have put it early in the day so that families can attend before going to work. Last year all students had at least one family member to witness their graduation, we would very much like for the same level of parent attendance this year too!
Have a great weekend,
Grade 6 Team
