I hope this message finds you well. We have had a wonderful week of music-making as the focus shifts entirely toward our upcoming live performances.
Our MYP music students are showing great enthusiasm as they prepare for the stage. Here is an update on their progress this week:
- Grades 7, 8, and 9: Concert Engagement – I have seen fantastic engagement from students across these year groups. They have been busy with the selection and practice of their repertoire for the Summer Concert. It is inspiring to see them take ownership of their pieces and work collaboratively to bring their arrangements to life.
- Summer Concert Preparation (June 3rd): As we count down to June 3rd, our classroom environment has transformed into a rehearsal studio. We are focusing deeply on performing and reflecting as artists, ensuring every student feels confident and prepared to showcase their technical growth.
- Grade 10: E-Portfolio Completion & New Beginnings – I am very pleased to announce that our Grade 10 students have satisfactorily finished their e-Portfolios. This is a major achievement and a testament to their hard work over the year. With that milestone behind them, they are now embarking on the practice of songs for the Summer Concert, joining the rest of the MYP in preparing for our final celebration of the year..
We are looking forward to a vibrant and musical lead-up to our June performance.
