This week in MYP Grade 10 Visual Arts, students focused on finalising their Art ePortfolio, an important component of their assessment. Guided by the theme Embracing Uniqueness, the key concept of Aesthetics, and the statement of inquiry “Beauty and uniqueness are found in our differences,” students refined and organised their work to clearly communicate their artistic journey.
Throughout the process, students carefully selected and annotated both visual and written evidence to demonstrate the development of their ideas. Emphasis was placed on how their work reflects personal perspectives, individuality, and creative exploration. Students have also revisited their intentions, ensuring their final submissions highlight thoughtful experimentation, artistic decision-making, and connections to the unit’s theme.
As they complete their ePortfolios, students are showcasing not only their final outcomes but also the process behind their work, demonstrating growth, reflection, and an understanding of how art can celebrate diversity and uniqueness.
