Dear Secondary Families,

As we move further into the final part of the school year, our students are approaching an important period of assessment. Over the coming weeks, many classes will be completing final summative tasks, while our Grade 10 and Grade 12 students prepare for their examination period.

Assessment plays an important role within an IB education. It allows students to demonstrate what they have learned, but it is also an opportunity for them to reflect on their progress and identify areas for further growth. While examinations and assessments can naturally bring a degree of pressure, they are also a valuable chance for students to apply the knowledge, skills and habits they have been developing throughout the year.

For our Grade 10 and Grade 12 students in particular, this period represents an important milestone in their academic journey. We have been impressed with the way many students are approaching their revision with focus and maturity, and we encourage all students to continue balancing their preparation with healthy routines, including rest, organisation and time away from screens and study materials.

As always, our teachers remain available to support students during this period, whether through additional guidance in lessons or the after-school academic support sessions that continue to run each week.

We wish all of our students the very best as they approach their upcoming assessments and examinations, and we thank parents for the continued support you provide at home during this important time of the year.
