A short week for students this week in the run-up to Ramadan. I am attaching a copy of the Grade 7 Ramadan timetable for your information. This shall begin on Wednesday 18th February ONLY IF that day is announced as the first day of Ramadan. Otherwise it will begin on Sunday 22nd February – any questions, please ask.
This week students have been putting more thought into their Service as Action and which activities they can work on collaboratively with others. It is harder than it seems to come up with authentic service tasks that really help our students to develop their ATL skills while genuinely helping the wider community, be it local or global. Please take time to talk some ideas through with your child, especially if you know of anywhere they could help in the community.
We have also started to plan the Grade 7 House competition, and in usual Grade 7 style, the girls will run one activity, and the boys another. It’s all top secret for now though, so sssshhhhhh!
