This week we started our new unit of inquiry, Sharing the Planet by identifying different types of extreme weather, We talked about our experiences of floods in Oman and cyclone Shaheen. We looked at each type of weather and used adjectives about the colours, shapes and movements to write a description.
Next week, we will go further with our research to find out the impact of extreme weather on the environment and how communities and organsiations help people to be prepared and support each other.
