This week in 1B, our phonics focus was on the sounds e, o, g, and u. We practiced through games and quick “say it–tap it–write it” routines. Ask your child to share one word for each sound!
In our Who We Are unit, students interviewed their friends and shared things about themselves—what makes them special, what they’re good at, and how they help at home and school. We’re also practicing speaking in full sentences and active listening.
In math, we are practising our number formations and working on before and after numbers. We also explored venn diagrams!
Our literacy centers are up and running, and we’re using Raz-Kids for leveled reading practice. We’re sending Seesaw home learning codes so families can follow along and celebrate learning from home.
