Dear Parents,
The first week has been a wonderful start, with the children settling into new routines, getting to know one another, and enjoying the games and activities of our first unit.
I would especially like to highlight the spirit of collaboration in KG2 this week. The children have shown great awareness of the importance of helping and supporting new classmates. One touching example was when a student paused their own game to help a friend instead. Moments like these continue to inspire me and reflect the caring environment we are building together.
I am pleased to inform you that swimming will be an ongoing part of the PE program throughout the school year, beginning on August 31. Swimming provides children with a wonderful opportunity to develop motor skills, build water confidence, and strengthen independence—all in a safe and enjoyable setting. The timetable for the swimming lessons will be as follows:
- KG1 Wednesday 10:20 – 11:00
- K2A Tuesday 09:20 – 10:00
- K2B Tuesday 11:40 – 12:20
To support their independence, we kindly encourage you to practice dressing and undressing at home with your child. This will help them feel more confident and make the process easier at school.
To ensure your child is fully prepared for each swimming lesson, please send the following items, clearly labeled with their name:
- Compulsory swim cap
- Compulsory swim googles
- One-piece swimsuit for girls
- Swim trunks or shorts for boys
- Flip-flops
- Towel
- A full set of changing clothes
- Wet bag
Finally, a gentle reminder that on PE days, children should come to school wearing athletic shoes and comfortable pants to ensure safety and freedom of movement.
We are looking forward to a joyful year filled with play, movement, and discovery—both in the gym and in the pool. Thank you for your cooperation and support in preparing your child for these experiences.
Warm regards,
Ms. Nuria
Kindergarten Physical Education Teacher
