It was great to see so many familiar faces back at school and excited to be starting their MYP journey in Grade 7. We also welcomed 4 new students to Grade 7: Alaynaa, Maryam, Ruth, and Sabina and everyone made them feel very welcome.
Grade 7 started the week by working together to create their Essential Agreements about what needs to happen to ensure that everyone gets the most out of this year of learning. Lots of new routines, new teachers, new systems, and new learning spaces to navigate, but everyone seemed to enjoy their first week back and we look forward to seeing all of the teaching and learning that will take place this year. When reflecting with the students on the biggest changes, and what they found most difficult, the resounding peply was the shorter 40 minute lunch break!
We look forward to seeing everyone settle in to the new routines and making this a successful year for all members of Grade 7. Congratulations on completing level 1 Grade 7 players.
