Dear Parents and Students,
It has been a wonderful start to the school year, and I am delighted to share what we’ve been learning in Mathematics across the grade level 7. Alongside getting to know each other, we’ve laid some strong foundations for our learning journey ahead.
This week, we had three lessons together. We began by introducing ourselves and sharing a few fun facts in an icebreaker activity – a lovely way to learn something new about each other!
After this, we kicked off our Maths learning with decimal numbers. We explored place values and practised the addition of decimals. Students also logged into Google Classroom and DeltaMath for the very first time, and everyone did a great job getting set up.
✨ Spotlight: A few students showed great enthusiasm when helping their classmates log in to the platforms.
🔎 Looking ahead: Next week, we’ll build on decimals and move into multiplication and division with decimals.
