End of week 1 already! The students have settled well into Grade 3 and their new learning space. We have explored the classroom and they were excited to receive their ipads. We have already started some activities on Seesaw and my weekly messages will be sent every Sunday morning.
Next week, our Parent Information Evening will be on Tuesday 2nd September with presentations at 5.15 and 6.00. I look forward to meeting you then, where we can talk more about the Grade 3 curriculum and expectations.
Next week, we will also be starting our first maths unit about number knowledge, including place value, patterning, ordering and rounding. We will be reading in groups, in pairs and 1-1 and thinking about the features of writing.
