What a wonderful start to the year! This week in 1B, we focused on getting to know each other and our new learning spaces. A cheerful classroom scavenger hunt helped us learn where everything lives while we practiced tidy-up and carpet expectations. We built our classroom agreements and used morning meetings to share how we’re feeling. In Math, we counted the letters in our names and made a class name graph; we also created All-About-Me T-shirts featuring our favourite things. Students enjoyed specialist classes in Arabic/AL, Music, PHE, and Art, and we met friendly faces around the school. I’m excited for the joyful learning ahead!
