Dear Parents,
We would like to inform you that the English as an Additional Language (EAL) Department has begun administering the WIDA test this week to students in Grades 2 through 6.
The WIDA assessment is designed to evaluate students’ English language proficiency in the areas of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. This testing helps us better understand each student’s progress in English and ensures they receive the appropriate support to succeed in the classroom.
Testing will take place during school hours and will be conducted in a calm and supportive environment. Students will need to bring their Ipads fully charged and their set of headphones.
If you have any questions or would like more information about the WIDA test, please don’t hesitate to contact the EAL department or the homeroom teacher of your child.
Thank you for your continued support.
