Dear Families,

What an exciting week we’ve had! Our story of the week was The Gruffalo, and the children were captivated by the clever little mouse who used creative thinking to outsmart the forest predators. Through this tale, we explored how animals and plants are connected in nature—just like the characters in The Gruffalo!

Building on this idea, we made real-world connections to food and its journey through life—how plants grow, how animals find food, and how everything in nature is linked. The students were eager to observe their own planted seeds, watering them daily and watching closely for any signs of growth.

In writing, the children practiced copying simple sentences from the board on lined paper and added their own illustrations, bringing their words to life through pictures.

Have a great holiday!
