Dear KG2 Families,

We’re excited to share some of the wonderful activities our little learners have been engaged in this week!

The week began with a fun run, where the children enjoyed the fresh air, walking and running joyfully. It was a beautiful way to connect with nature and kick off the week on an active note.

As part of our Unit of Inquiry, “How the World Works,” the children visited the school lab and had their first experience using a microscope. They explored tree leaves, asked thoughtful questions, and made detailed observations. It was amazing to hear their descriptions of what they discovered under the microscope! We continue to encourage them to think like scientists, connecting to our inquiry line: “Scientists ask questions, make observations, and draw conclusions.”

In Math, we introduced the number 11 with the fun phrase, “Two ones together make friends forever!” This helped the children grasp the concept in an engaging way.

During Literacy, we focused on the letter “D, d.” The children learned its sound, practiced forming the letter, and even created a delightful duck craft to reinforce their learning through art.

We’ve captured some special moments from this week’s activities—feel free to click the link to view the photos.

Thank you for your continued support!

Warm regards,

Ms. AlJabri & Ms. Maryam
