Dear KG2 Families,
We’re excited to share the wonderful learning experiences your little ones had this week! As part of our unit “How the World Works,” we’ve been exploring the sense of smell. The children had a chance to discover that smells can be very different. They enjoyed smelling various items such as coffee, cumin, cinnamon, and fragrances.
To connect all the senses together, the children observed how popcorn is made! They explored the process and used multiple senses—seeing, smelling, touching, hearing, and finally tasting. This hands-on activity helped them recognize how our senses work together to help us understand the world.
In literacy, we introduced the letter “K.” The children engaged in fun, creative activities related to the letter, including making their very own kites!
Don’t forget to check our weekly album to see photos capturing these special moments.
Warm regards,
Ms. AlJabri & Ms. Maryam
