Next week, we’re excited to begin our new unit, How the World Works! Our central idea is “Our senses help us explore and understand the world around us.” We’ll dive into the fascinating world of our five senses, exploring what each sense is and how we use it in our daily lives.
To start, we have some engaging activities planned! We’ll create an inquiry table filled with various materials for sensory exploration, and we’ll also go on sensory walks to use our senses in nature. Each activity will give children the chance to explore what they can discover using sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell.
This hands-on unit promises many discoveries and experiences that we can’t wait to share. We’re looking forward to a wonderful journey of exploration and learning together!
