This week in Grade 1 was filled with exciting activities! During “Show and Tell,” students shared their favorite items, proudly speaking in front of their classmates and learning more about each other. They also participated in a team-building activity from their unit of inquiry, where they worked on building a bridge together. The activity focused on nurturing relationships and understanding how their choices impact one another, as they collaborated to plan, construct, and problem-solve. At the end of the week, a nurse visited for a scheduled vaccine session, and the students were brave, learning about the importance of staying healthy and supporting each other.
