Dear Parents,
This week in Physical Education, we expanded our games and psychomotor exercises by introducing an important new focus: problem-solving. While children at this age may not face big challenges, they often encounter everyday situations like hesitating to share or not giving up a spot to a classmate. Since it can still be tough for them to express their ideas or make themselves heard, we introduced a fun and simple conflict-resolution tool: the classic game of “rock, paper, scissors”!
We’re happy to share that it has been a fun and engaging week for the students. They were wonderful listeners and quickly grasped that there’s no need to push or hit to resolve conflicts. This is a great habit, and we encourage you to practice it at home to reinforce what they’ve learned.
Swimming sessions are also going well, with the children becoming more comfortable in the water each day. However, we are still working on helping them dress independently. We kindly ask that you continue practicing at home through playful activities, like timing how quickly they can dress correctly. This will help them see it as a fun challenge rather than a chore.
Thank you very much for your continued support. We are very proud of the progress our little ones are making!
Best regards,
Ms. Nuria.
