We continue to have a fantastic week! This week, we explored initial letter sounds (S, A, T, I) and began building CVC words. Students in 1C are working in groups to draw or write words with those letters this week. We’ve also been practicing counting from 1 to 20 and working on counting backwards.
Our Unit of Inquiry has begun, and students are learning more about each other. We’ve created various graphs about ourselves, our families, and any pets we might have at home. Also, 1C students have started mindful practices and are working with their breathing buddies. I hope they can show you at home!
