In transdisciplinary learning through Units of Inquiry, math and literacy (reading, writing, listening and speaking), students have continued to prepare for our Comic Con(vention) coming up soon. They have been working very hard and have created some amazing graphic novels. We hope to see you here for our Comic Con to share in this learning with them. Please talk with them about this, see our feature image and below for important dates.
HOME LEARNING
The maintenance of home learning reading/ writing and mathematics is important in consolidating fundamental skills. Please continue with this as a routine.
School Events – Important Dates
- Bridging day (where G6 gets to experience first hand what it it like to be in G7) – Monday June 3
- G6 Comic Con = Tuesday – Thursday, June 4 – 6, 2024 [NOTE: Parents are invited to join us from 8:30 – 10:00 Thursday, June 6, 2024. This so that parents can join in our learning share as well as attend the summer concert. More details to follow]
- Summer Concert, June 6th
- Potential Excursion – Sohar Oasis Mall Movie Day = Monday, June 10, 2024 – [please see a permission slip coming home today about this]
