Week 33

Dear KG 2 Families,

This week was packed with engaging activities in our classroom. We began introducing 3D shape to the children and delved deeper into exploring the cube, cone, sphere, and cylinder shapes. We also explored creating three-dimensional cube shapes using sticks and clay, a project we will continue to work on.

The children also learned about the letter ‘Z,’ created zebra-themed activities, and demonstrated remarkable teamwork skills while completing assigned tasks. It’s been rewarding to witness their independence and growth in these areas.

In our unit on “How we organize ourselves,” we focused on identifying signs and practicing the thinking routine “I see, I think, and I wonder.” We emphasized the power of images in conveying ideas or messages through signs.

Attached are some pictures from this week. We hope you enjoy seeing the children’s progress and wish you a delightful weekend.

Warm regards,

Ms. AlJabri &  Ms.Juhaina
