We have spent a week of learning and sharing. It was amazing to watch the children show their parents what they have learned in class. They have matured so much this past school year.
This week, we started our personal narratives. The class organized their thoughts and started writing a personal narrative about going to the beach. They have enjoyed thinking about their fun times at the beach and are excited to share their stories.
We also started our new UOI, How We Express Ourselves, with dress up time. The Central Idea: Through creativity and imagination we can express ourselves to others. Then in small groups performed a short skit. The kids had so much fun and used their creativity to come up with a quick skit!
