This week, the students continued to explore and develop their knowledge and skills in various net games. Grade 7 started learning the rules and skills used in pickleball. Here is a link to a video that explains how to play pickleball.
G8 is building on volleyball skills developed last year – success in volleyball requires body and spatial awareness, communication, and critical thinking skills. Here is a link to a video that explains what makes a good volleyball player.
Although physical education does not prioritize skill mastery, students are still expected to develop and refine their abilities to participate effectively in small-sided games.
