Greetings Everyone-

A whirl-wind week, full of politics, math learning, field trip planning, and yearbook creating.  We hope your Ramadan has been healthy and full of reflection.

Here is our week at a glance.

  • We applied our knowledge from last week’s reading and help a mock election showcasing the difference between popular vote and electoral vote.  It came out as a tie, due to having a third candidate.  With the tie, we were compelled to research further and touch on the two houses of congress in the US.  We also worked on our Rights and Responsibilities and building a G4 Constitution.

  • Some students delved into BTC learning, honing in their data recording skills by building a table.  Some also touched on learning about the concept of square roots, algebra and fractions.  Others are working on understanding division stories by working with manipulatives.

  • We have started working on our yearbook contributions.  We are keeping it a secret for now.
