It was a week of all change here in Grade 5. The classroom has changed again, as we gave out awards for the Solar System models and prepared our classroom for our new unit of inquiry into ecosystems. Students have also been great at adapting to the shortened timetable for Ramadan, being ready and prepared to start their lessons on time. Well done all!
In maths this week we were looking at units of measurement and did a mini inquiry into the differences between imperial and metric units of measurement. In writing students wrote their reflections about the Muscat trip, identifying which learner profile attributes and Approaches To Learning skills they used during the experience. We also did a brain storm into what we know about poetry as this will be our focus in the new unit.
