Dear Parents,
Today we received a new regulation from the Ministry of Education (MOE) impacting all international and private schools in Oman that operate under the MOE guidelines, including ABIS.
Previously, during Ramadan our school operated with students’ learning hours from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, totaling 6 hours at school. However, the new regulation mandates only 5 hours of schooling. We contacted the MOE directly and they have confirmed this new regulation which is to be applied to all schools.
Consequently, while our school day will still commence at 8:00 am, students will now finish at 1:00 pm from Sunday to Thursday.
