Dear Parents,

This past week, we celebrated the Grade 6 IB PYP Exhibition, and it was truly inspiring to witness the dedication and hard work demonstrated by our Grade 6 students. Their commitment was evident, and we were thoroughly impressed by their efforts. The evening spent with Grade 6 parents was particularly memorable, highlighted by the students’ performance of a song under the guidance of Mr. Peter. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the students for their outstanding exhibition, and we express our sincere appreciation to Mr. Glen and Mr. Andrew for their unwavering support and mentorship throughout the six-week-long process.

We are very pleased to announce the remarkable achievements of our ABIS students in the Holy Quran competition, where they competed against 25 schools, including governmental, private, and international institutions. We take immense pride in the accomplishments of our students: Mohammed Ishaq Al Balushi (Grade 6) secured 6th place, Maryam Mohammed Al Shafii (Grade 7) achieved 7th place, Mohammed Ahmed Al Ruhaili (Grade 4) attained 8th place, and Rana Ahmed Salim Al Saidi (Grade 4) secured 9th place. Congratulations to all the participants, and a special acknowledgment goes to our Arabic teachers for their dedicated support to these students.

Additionally, ABIS performed exceptionally well in an interschool soccer competition, showcasing remarkable sportsmanship and skill. We commend all the teams for their outstanding performance and thanks to Mr Fernando for organising and leading these two days of soccer matches. The results: ABIS vs ABQ: Sunday matches:  Boys G2-3  won 15:10, Boys G4-5 15:30     Monday matches: ABIS (u/13) won 7-0; ABIS (u/15) won 5-0

For the February break, I hope that everyone takes this opportunity to enjoy a well-deserved rest with family and friends. Wishing you all a wonderful holiday.
