Dear Primary Families,
The countdown is well and truly underway for our Oman Week 2024 and we hope the students’ excitement levels are building. Across the school we have a range of trips and activities planned and these include the following:
KG1 & KG2: Sohar Beach Trip
Grade 1: Wadi Hibi Trip
Grade 2: Grand Mosque visit, Souq visit
Grade 3: Bayt Qasra, Rustaq; Sohar Beach Trip, Overnight stay at ABIS
Grade 4: Overnight Camp at Mussanah
Grade 5: Overnight Trip to Muscat
Grade 6: Overnight Camp at Mussanah
As well as the trips and excursions, there will also be a number of activities taking place at school over the course of the week. I am personally very excited about the chance to start the week by taking a short camel ride!
Homeroom teachers will be in communication with you to let you know the specific details, requirements, and expectations for each trip and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
There are a wide variety of educational opportunities and benefits of these trips and experiences, as well as the chance to learn more about Oman and its culture.
Please ensure your child is well prepared for each day and we shall look forward to an exciting week!
