With only one more school week left in 2023, and our Unit of Inquiry into forces and motion, things have been a bit hectic!
It was great to see so many of you at our Winter Concert, and please come along next week to support some of our own Grade 5 students in Monday’s Musical: Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Please bring family and friends along to enjoy the performance.
This week in language, students completed their narrative backstory about their Rube Goldberg machines. (Those who have not yet completed their final draft will do so as homework!) In maths we were subtracting decimals using place value strategies, and relate those strategies to a written method, and in UOI teams are rushing to complete their Rube Goldberg machines so that they will be ready for everyone to come and see in January when we invite you to our Learning Celebration!
