191 kilometers left to reach my goal of 2,000 kilometers over the next 32 days! Similarly, we’re almost there to the end of another calendar year with the last few weeks of this year packed with school events. In the meantime, there was some phenomenal learning and teaching happening this week: G6 W14 in Pictures.

Literacy Summary
This week, students completed some reading responses or write longs about when character traits collide, how groups wield power over individuals, and why stereotypes are important. Students also worked on (and many completed) a literary essay based on theme.
Numeracy Summary
This week, students took assessments for ratios, unit rates, fractions, decimals, and percentages to end the first unit before reflecting on their learning journey through a SeeSaw Activity. Students also demonstrated the depth and breadth of their foundational skills by taking a number knowledge and problem-solving assessment.
UoI Summary
This week, students completed their inquiry into the evolution of technology over the last century. Students presented their learning through group presentations as well as the impact on present and future generations.
