What We Did in Week 10

  • Finished our class book based on a book called “ What if Everyone Did That?” . Then we self assessed ourselves as a group member and compared that to others assessment of us being a group member. : How am I involving myself in group work?, Am I using kind words?  Am I listening to others’ ideas?  Am I pulling my weight?

.

  • Took another fast facts assessment and charted their progress.  We will use these results to reflect on our first action plan, consider our progress and adjust our action plan. Then we started with addition without regrouping by solving jigsaw puzzles.

  • Developing fluency by repeated reading and getting better at word recognition and flow.

Strengthening our class culture & School Culture:   Students reflected on what good SPORTSMANSHIP means to them and each of them made an action plan that they plan to follow in order to display good sportsmanship while playing team sports and games.

Worth reminding:

  • 5 Nov – ASA Round 2 begins (Signs are now extended until 10 am, Sunday)
  • 7-9 Nov: Three-way conferences
  • Please see Broadcaster posts, Sunday mails, Seesaw posts and your child’s FMJ regularly for communication between school and home.

As always, please feel free to write to us if you have any questions or would like to seek clarification.

Have a wonderful weekend.
