Week 8

Dear KG2 Families,

We had a lovely and enjoyable week together. Our young students put in a lot of effort and enthusiasm into their card project. They showed great positivity in their interactions. Well done, young learners!

In our math lessons, we covered several concepts, with a significant focus on understanding “greater than.” Our students demonstrated a good grasp of this concept, and we’ll continue to work on it and distinguish it from other concepts.

We also continued to practice counting both forwards and backwards using cards. We emphasized the importance of organizing the cards systematically rather than randomly.

In lettercy studies, we completed the first set of the Jolly Phonics group, specifically the letters( S,A,P,T,I and N). It was delightful to see the children repeating letter sounds with accompanying movements and songs. Additionally, we emphasized the role of authors and illustrators in stories, highlighting that the pictures capture the joy our learners experience in class.

We wish you a wonderful weekend ahead.
