Word of the Day

As a vocabulary building exercise, I have instituted a “word of the day” competition in the DP classes. Each class, we start off with a word (usually drawn from SAT vocabulary lists), which the students then need to define and provide an example for. They earn points for each correct word. In the last couple of weeks, I have thrown in a few twists to keep it interesting for everyone. The current leaders are:
