As ABIS sets its sights on the future, we are excited to announce the unveiling of our new vision and mission statements, which underscore our dedication to cultivating compassionate, lifelong learners and global citizens. These statements encapsulate the core principles and ambitions of ABIS, providing a strategic compass that will steer the school’s trajectory for years to come.
New Vision Statement:
“Al Batinah International School (ABIS) provides the community a high-quality education that empowers students to be compassionate lifelong learners and global citizens who positively influence the world”.
This new vision statement encapsulates ABIS’s commitment to delivering a high-quality education where students not only acquire knowledge, but also contribute constructively to their local communities and the global society.
New Mission Statement:
“The ABIS community will challenge and inspire all students to reach their full potential by providing an innovative and inquiry-based education that supports wellbeing and lifelong learning.”
ABIS’s new mission statement highlights the school’s pledge to motivate each student to excel and explore the world, cultivate critical thinking abilities, and continuously strive for excellence. ABIS is dedicated to student well-being, ensuring that they not only attain academic success, but also flourish emotionally and mentally.
I am also very pleased to introduce a more inclusive and encompassing Community Pact which has evolved from the previous Student Pact. Under this new framework, all members of the ABIS community are united in their commitment to the principles of “Challenge Yourself, Involve Yourself, Be Your Best.”
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all contributors who have played a pivotal role in shaping this remarkable development. We eagerly anticipate an exciting future for both ABIS and the entire school community.
