WEEK 32
Dear Parents and Guardians of KG1,
Throughout the week, we discussed material selection for specific products, focusing on their properties such as mass, pliability, texture, strength and color. Our young students had hands-on experiences with various materials like stone, sand, water and paper. They were highly engaged and eager to learn more about material properties.
In Mathematics, our students practiced critical thinking and expanded their mathematical knowledge. Activities included counting from 1 to 5 and from 1 to 10, as well as identifying number values. These exercises helped them strengthen their understanding of mathematical concepts.
We are pleased to share that our students are making significant progress in writing, literacy, and spoken English. They have been working diligently to improve their fine motor skills by learning proper crayon and color pencil grip. Through painting and drawing stories, they have been encouraged to express their creativity. Additionally, they have been actively engaged in listening to and telling their own stories, which has enhanced their language skills and reinforced their English proficiency.
To keep enhancing their Communication and Social Skills, we encouraged our students on a daily basis to:
- utilize English terminology when conversing with their classmates
- participate in sharing and taking turns
- conduct themselves with integrity and respect for others, which is of utmost importance
- exhibit benevolence and empathy towards their peers, which should be a regular practice
- ensure that every student is included in their games
- foster their listening skills by following instructions given in class and at home.

We hope you have a great weekend.
