PSHE lessons with Ms Maitha
Ready to go shopping!!
This week we went to Nesto to see where the fruit and vegetables are imported from. The students chose what to buy and had to calculate how much money they would need. We used the data to see which countries imported the most items and created a bar graph to show the information. We also had to problem solve in order to fit the graph in our books!
We then researched how far the fruit and vegetables had to travel to Oman. Next week we will discuss our findings.
Ms Maitha visited us this week to talk about conflict resolution and being kind and caring. We listened to a story and discussed what we would do in different situations. We are focusing on Social Skills in this unit and the students are showing how they work together.
