Dear KG2 Families,
Our new unit started this week with a series of engaging activities. To begin with, the children were tasked with an object hunt, where they had to locate items made of various materials. By using their sense of touch, hearing, and smell, they attempted to identify the materials used. To remove the sense of sight, we blindfolded the children. Once the materials were identified, the children were prompted to describe the characteristics and properties of each object/material.
Our exploration of the concept of material will continue in the upcoming week.
