Dear KG2 Families,

I am pleased to share that we have concluded our unit on “Sharing the Planet” this week. Our young learners had a wonderful time exploring the needs of living things and developing an understanding of sustainable practices such as reusing and reducing. We understand that these are complex concepts for our students, and we will continue to revisit them regularly to reinforce their understanding. It would be helpful if you could model these practices at home to support their learning.

Furthermore, we have introduced the attributes of 2D and 3D shapes to the children.

In literacy, our focus was on the concept of “organisation”. We taught the children about how stories have a beginning, middle, and end. As a follow-up activity, we asked the children to write their own stories, which they will be bringing home today to share with you. We hope you enjoy reading your child’s story.

Last but not least please click here to see some snapshots.

As always, thank you for your continued support and please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns.

Wishing you a lovely weekend.

Warm regards,

Mrs Nicholson and Ms Haifa
