In English students have completed reading ‘The Outsiders.’ They will soon start the final summative assessment which will be based on character analysis. To help them with this we have just completed a hot-seating exercise. In this some students form the group act as characters from the novel and answer questions that have been generated by the remainder of the class.
In Individuals and Societies we are completing our unit on systems of government. Students have completed a research task into totalitarian states. They are now working on an essay where they are comparing two types of government to decide which is the better.
